Doolan’s Shore Club Hosts Pre-Oscar Party to Benefit the Garden State Film Festival – Spring Lake, NJ – Sunday, February 27, 2011 from 4 – 7pm

Doolan’s Shore Club will host the First Annual Pre-Oscar Party to Benefit the Garden State Film Festival on Sunday, February 27, 2011 from 4 – 7pm.  It’s a gala night!  Walk the Red Carpet, dodge the Paparazzi and Reporters.  Ticket includes a Complimentary Cocktail, Fabulous Hors D’oeuvres, live music, a Red Carpet photo and the chance to enter 3 over the top Raffles, featuring gift certificates from many area restaurants, classes in dance, voice and recording studio time.

Special Guest will be Dr. Robi Ludwig, psychotherapist and host of the reality television program, One Week to Save Your Marriage on TLC and Without Prejudice? on GSN. Dr. Ludwig is the niece of Irv Gikofsky, better known as Mr. G.,famed  New York City weatherman.

Also performing is Brittany Matthews owner of Fred Astaire Dance Studio of Wall, Bob Ballack as Emcee and Lou Parisi singing famous songs of the silver screen.

The 9th Annual Garden State Film Festival, March31st-April 3rd , will show over 130 films in 5 locations, along with lavish parties, seminars, casting calls and this year’s honorees, Lainie Kazan, film, tv, music and Broadway star; Steve Sabol, President of NFL Films and Clarence Clemons of the E Street Band.  It is a non profit event, dedicated to promoting emerging talent and the creative arts.
