Having sold over 80 million albums worldwide, multi-platinum rockers Journey will be in the Event Center for two nights, Friday, September 4 and Saturday, September 5.

In 2008, Journey introduced a new singer to the world, Arnel Pineda, with the release of their 14th studio album, Revelation, and an extraordinarily successful world tour. It was the latest chapter in a rock and roll saga that started more than 35 years ago and has produced some of the best-known rock songs of the 1970’s and 80’s including “Lovin’, Touchin’, Squeezin’,” “Any Way You Want It,” “Escape,” “Don’t Stop Believin’,” “Who’s Crying Now” and “Open Arms.” After seven months on the road with Journey, Pineda told the media, “This is the best job in the world and as long as my band mates will let me rock with them, I will keep singing with Journey.”

Counting Crows
Event Center
Friday, August 28 – 8pm

Fresh off of the successful release of their highly anticipated new double album Saturday Nights & Sunday Mornings, Counting Crows will continue to amaze fans with hits like “Mr. Jones,” “Hard Candy,” “Rain King” and others as well as brand new tracks like “You Can’t Count on Me,” “Washington Square” and “Cowboys.” Their new album takes the listener on a journey through the frenetic, crazy, whirlwind, partying, famous Saturday Nights, and the redemptive, regretful aftermath of the Sunday Mornings that follow. In 2004, the band released their first ever “Best Of”set titled Films About Ghost, which featured songs from every phase of the Counting Crow’s recording career and in 2006, a live record was released, New Amsterdam: Live at Heineken Music Hall 2003, which gave fans even more insight into their vivid musical landscapes, as well as the feverish brilliance of singer/songwriter Adam Duritz. Counting Crows has sold over 20 million records worldwide.
