“Native Plants for Butterfly Gardens” Lecture at Main Library @ 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 23rd at the Main Library

Cape May Court House – The Cape May County Library is delighted to host Teresa Knipper as she presents a lecture “Native Plants for Butterfly Gardens” at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 23rd at the Main Library, 30 Mechanic Street, Cape May Court House.

Teresa Knipper will help you jump onto the eco-friendly bandwagon and show you how to fit those native plants into your own landscape.  Knipper, an amateur photographer, will delight and inform you with beautiful slides of her own of butterflies and the native plants that can sustain them right in your own backyard.  Highlighted will be planting advice and tips on how to get these “wild plants” to behave in your landscape.

Knipper has been gardening for butterflies for over ten years and brings a wealth of personal knowledge and enthusiasm to her lectures.  Knipper trained as a Master Gardener in Mercer County, New Jersey and a naturalist at Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve in New Hope, PA.
