Learn How To Create Gastronomical Masterpices with Chef Mark MacPherson at Market in the Middle – Cooking Classes 3/4/09

(Asbury Park, NJ) Market in the Middle is looking to take another group of budding gourmands through the finer points of global cuisine!

Market in the Middle, on Cookman Ave in Asbury Park, will hold the next in a series of cooking classes next Wednesday. Chef Mark MacPherson will feature Vegetarian Cuisine in this demonstration cooking class.

All courses will also be expertly matched with wines and spirits sold at Market in the Middle by our very own Michelle Burstein.

Tray Pressner, the general manager, continues to be pleased by the overwhelmingly positive response. “I thought the classes might be well received,” said Tray, “but I had no idea people would be so excited.” The Market in the Middle will be continuing these instructional demonstrations into the summer on a monthly basis. In the works are classes that will cover Louisiana/Cajun foods, Indian/Thai, Hors d’oeuvres, French, and German food with a beer tasting – all ideas culled from the attendees of previous classes. “We got some great ideas for subsequent classes from our students,” says Tray, “so stay tuned.”
