Atlantic City, NJ (February 5, 2009) — Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa today announced the addition of G Love & Special Sauce (April 4, 2009), Jimmy Fallon (April 11, 2009) and Brad Garrett (April 18, 2009) to its entertainment lineup.

G Love & Special Sauce will be at The Music Box on Friday, April 4. The Philadelphia based band incorporates hip-hop, funk, psychedelica, blues, and soul into their music, which was showcased beautifully in their 1999 release Philadelphonic, they followed that up with Electric Mile in 2001. G Love has collaborated with such singers and songwriters as Ben Harper, Marc Broussard, Tristan Prettyman, Donavon Frankenreiter, and Blackalicious. They are also currently signed to Jack Johnson’s Brushfire Records label. This past June the trio put out their latest album entitled Superhero Brother featuring the single “Peace, Love, and Happiness.”

Jimmy Fallon

On Friday, April 11 comedian, actor and musician Jimmy Fallon will perform at The Music Box. Fallon is best known for his role on Saturday Night Live where did impersonations of everyone from Jerry Seinfeld, French Stewart, Chris Rock, Gilbert Gottfried, and Adam Sandler, to Osama bin Laden, Eddie Vedder, Alanis Morissette, and Robert Smith of The Cure. In 2002, Fallon released the comedy album The Bathroom Wall which was nominated for a Grammy in 2003 for Best Spoken Comedy Album.

This past year, it was announced that he will replace Conan O’Brien as host of NBC’s Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. The premiere will be March 2, 2009.

Brad Garrett
The Music Box

Emmy Award-winning actor and stand-up comedian Brad Garrett will appear at The Music Box on Friday, April 18. Garrett is well-known for his sitcom roles on Everybody Loves Raymond and ‘Til Death. His affinity for stand-up comedy started at a young age and led to a performance on The Tonight Show starring Johnny Carson. His appearance at age 23 made him one of the youngest comedians ever to be featured on the show. Garrett has opened for such superstars as Diana Ross Liza Minnelli, Frank Sinatra, David Copperfield, Smokey Robinson, Sammy Davis, Jr. and the Beach Boys. Garrett’s distinctive deep voice has landed him notable work as a voice actor, such as on the animated films A Bug’s Life, Finding Nemo, Garfield and as “Auguste Gusteau” in Pixar’s Ratatouille.
