The Jersey Shore Roller Girls, a league of local women skaters currently undefeated, will take on their most formidable opponents yet, the Gotham Girl’s Wall Street Traitors team from New York City .
Gotham is nationally ranked, and a member of the prestigious Women’s Flat-Track Derby Association (WFTDA).

The Gotham Girls are sending their “B” travel team to play the Jersey Shore “A” team, the Jersey Shore Roller Girls All-Stars travel team.

Eva “Angry Beaver” O’Neill, the captain of the JSRG travel team, said, “This will be by far our most challenging and important bout this season. The Gotham Girls are who made me want to play derby and to line up against them is such an honor. Thank you to them for giving us this opportunity.”

While the Jersey Shore Roller Girls are readying for a brutal match-up in what may be their most exciting bout ever, the league is alsoproud to host a concert as part of their roller derby event: a show by The Bouncing Souls.

The Bouncing Souls, a well-known punk band rousing crowds nationally as part of past Warped Tours or headlining their own tour worldwide, will keep the Convention Hall alive after the last buzzer sounds.
