ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (June 10, 2008) – Record high gas prices don’t have to keep you from having a great vacation this summer. Studies show that 50 million people live within a 300 mile radius of Atlantic City. Lucky enough, the average gas powered car can travel 300 miles on one full tank of gas. The road trip makes a comeback as the Tropicana Casino and Resort gives away $25,000 in free gas cards and a 2008 Smart Car convertible – the tiny car that packs huge fuel savings. On Sunday, July 6, 2008, the Tropicana will award a total of $25,000 in free gas cards in hourly drawings from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Palm Walk on the Casino Floor.
