Go behind the cuisine scene with Chef’s Table dining at Il Verdi

One of Atlantic City’s most unique dining experiences is also one of its best kept secrets. Those seeking a memorable and fun dinner set amid the exciting atmosphere of a professional restaurant kitchen should look no further than The Chef’s Table at Il Verdi, the celebrated Italian restaurant at the Tropicana Casino and Resort.

“Il Verdi’s Chef’s Table is located in the heart of the Il Verdi kitchen, among the bustling cooks line,” said Joe LaPorte, Executive Chef, “It’s a very unique experience to have a customized dinner and enjoy a live show in the kitchen at the same time.”

The first dining experience of its kind in Atlantic City, The Chef’s Table at Il Verdi can accommodate groups from four to fourteen. It’s an exciting way to celebrate special occasions or enjoy a lively night out with friends, and has become a popular dining destination for visiting celebrities, sports personalities, and Atlantic City’s movers-and-shakers.

Il Verdi offers two Chef’s Table seatings every Friday through Tuesday, at 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. Chef’s Table guests are escorted to the kitchen, were they meet the chef. He reviews the menu with them and also helps to serve each course. The typical Chef’s Table meal offers six to seven courses, and includes wine pairings from the Il Verdi wine cellar.

“The menus are a great way to travel on an Italian culinary journey,” Chef LaPorte continued. “The desserts are worth the wait as samplings of our Pastry Chef’s art are served family style for everyone to enjoy.”

The culinary team at Il Verdi happily accommodates special dietary requests. Chef’s Table meals are $105 per person, not including tax and gratuity. Chef’s Table reservations can be made by calling 609-340-4000 ext. 4936.
