(Atlantic City, NJ) April 20, 2009 – On May 15, 2009, over 30 Hooters Girls from the Attila Wings Hooters Franchise area will compete in the Annual Hooters Regional Swimsuit Pageant in the Tropicana Casino & Resort Atlantic City, New Jersey. Hailing from Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, and Rhode Island, the Hooters Girls will represent their home restaurants in competition for the crown of Miss Attila Wings. The winner becomes eligible to compete in the Hooters 13th Annual International Swimsuit Pageant held in Fort Lauderdale, FL, June 20th, 2009.
The contestants were selected from over 130 Hooters Girls working in the thirteen area Hooters restaurants. They competed in local swimsuit contests and were featured in the 2009 Hooters Calendar and Hooters Magazine.
The pageant will be held at the Tropicana Casino & Resort showroom on May 15th at 9:00 PM EDT. Tickets will be on sale at the Tropicana Showroom the day of the event and at local Hooters Restaurants prior to the event for $5.00. All ticket sales will be donated to the RNS Cancer Memorial and mobile mammography benefiting greater Atlantic County. Prior to the Pageant, the Hooters Girls will participate in a meet-and-greet at the Hooters of Tropicana.
The original Hooters Girl, Lynne Austin, will be hosting the pageant. In addition to competing for Miss Hooters International, Miss Attila Wings will receive a cash prize and a photo shoot opportunity for the 2010 Hooters Calendar.
