Madam Marie was a fortune teller and entertainment personality in that little cinder block hut right on the boardwalk. She was a long time fixture on the boardwalk from the late ’50’s thru the mid ’80’s. She was made famous by Bruce Springsteen in his song “4th of July, Asbury Park”.
